Amazing how time seems to zoom past us! I haven't updated this travel blog for quite some time even though there has been a great deal that I could have reported!
Since my last post (an embarrasingly long time ago) I have had the privelege of meeting with our friends several times in Vietnam. The folk there are doing an amazing job of raising up new Christ followers throughout the country. Miracles of healing, amazing stories of mass salvations, growth of new home groups, all are common stories throughout the nation.
When I was last in Hanoi with them I found myself trying to dust off some sparkly flecks of glitter that I thought a child may have left on the floor. It was all over me and I couldn't seem to dust it away. Only hours later when I was sitting pondering the events of the day did I consider this to be the gold dust many others have testified to experiencing. I quickly went to look again at the clothes I had been wearing earlier that day and I couldn't find a single trace, not one fleck, of the glittering substance. It really made me smile as i considered this.
I also have had the honour of being with the Betel Mongolia team which was a trememdous highlight. Sitting with a small group of men in a small gur (round tent) teaching them about the Lord will remain with me as one of the greatest priveleges I've ever had.
God continues to astound and astonish the world with his power.
Next week I'm on the road again. Visiting some old friends in Italy, Bulgaria and Romania. I am hoping to post some photo's and updates as I move around.
